The Meaning of Zakat

Zakat is the Islamic economic system through which rich Muslim’s are bound to donate their money to the persons specified in the holy Quran. The rich Muslim’s can donate their money through the state or organization, which are collecting zakat in an organized way. The main object of zakat is one side on help to welfare works of humanity and other side is purifies the assets of rich giver.
